frostwave resonator as bass synth. (ableton live + motu)

more of the CV stuff.

here, the frostwave resonator becomes a bass synth. ableton live's simpler and drum racks are used to send CV signals to the frostwave and make it "playable" via midi. check out my other frostwave vid if you want a better understanding of what's going on.

I have a question please.

I use Ableton and Project5 for recording. I started on project5 then moved on to Ableton. I'm using a Lexicon Alpha audio interface and with ableton, when I record unless I turn down the monitor volume on the alpha, I get a doubling effect..like echo. but if i turn it down, then I can't hear anything I've previously recorded and want to play over.

What am I doing wrong please? have i missed.a setting?

not sure what the issue might be w/ableton, but it sounds like you have your monitor mix turned "up" in both lexicon driver software and ableton. so you want to turn it down in the driver, and leave ableton as your mixing source. just a guess.

Hi Please thank you for this video. I want to ask one thing. I have HW synth Access Virus and also x0xb0x. I want to play MIDI notes from ableton to my Hardware synts and output from these synth I want to put back again to MOTU. And in the MOTU I want Main out from ableton to out 1-2 And then route Audio IN 1-2 from Access Virus routed to the main OUT aswell. Is this possible ?? Thank you.
