When a historian asserts that the civil rights struggle accelerated during the 1960s due to its proponents being increasingly impassioned, it is relatively uninteresting. To hear these men speaking in the time and to hear those those who were directly involved speaking of their passions intensifying really brings the situation to life. thanks for uploading, a great resource. :)

It's sad that black american's even had to fight to get rights. I'm just thankful it wasn't like this in New Zealand.

Enjoyed . Isn't it interesting how Bald in stated he is not a n-word
But yet blacks of today and really everyone it seems under 30 say the term as an endearment . I was a child when Dr King spoke & with Obama winning both terms and as one man mentioned it had been a 100 years since slavery ended. Now 2013 its been almost 200 years . Now its not only Civil
Rights , its Human Rights .I Still notice Gays now say Marriage Equality Right. Pro lifers say they want rights. Women too when does it end

being white and supporting civil rights it was very dangerous most of the time the KKK hunted them down and killed them.

to geyer1400__you are right--i was beginning to wonder if I was the only one-to notice that America is more segregated today-than when I was a kid--i say--the east Indian pakistanis-and some if the africans-some of the europeans-from russia-from spain--greece--germany--have brought their hate-and racist rhetoric and culture-here to the U.S. because the U.S. took hatred of people of color abroad--yes--even the Asians are racist, too. it is worse now.

your weak. i mentioned around 15 on the top of my head when you asked for 10, i dont remember their exact full curriculum so now i double checked and two on my list is scientists, so what. I still mentioned 10 who is entertainers. your problem is that you are stuck in your own timewarp, where you pick and chose whom make up your little selective reality. you look at justin bieber and say this is the youth today. You could do the exact same in the 60's. but why should you...you are a hypocrit.

If you only want to focus on the dumbest in our society then ofc. you will get offended, but that only says more about you than it does about the rest of the society, there is intellectuals all around you and i just pointed some of them out to you. But your are stuck good sir. stuck in your own shit.
