You forgot to mention how depressing it was that we finally find out the Doctors encyclopedic knowledge of history comes not from his time at Gallifrey High, but from Wikipedia!

Good calls! I'd be shocked if the similarity between the Doctor and the Master don't come into play in the final 2 specials. And you could be very right about the Valeyard. Have you seen the photo of Timothy Dalton standing with David Tennant and John Simm?

Dead, Mars and End of Time pts 1 and two (Christmas Day and NYD I think for the End of Time I thinks...)

YOU GOT 4 EPISODES?! WE GOT THREE! (I think)

Wow, I didn't realise they were taking that long to show them over there! Then again it was a devil's age between Dead and Mars over here - 4 specials in 2009? More like one special and then three Yuletide eps!

I live in America. The episode "Planet of the Dead" is an Easter special, and it premiered here in NOVEMBER!!! I've given up on waiting for these episodes to show up in America. From now on, I'm watching them on youtube, instead of having to wait for a Christmas special to premier in the middle of July. I saw the Waters of Mars earlier today, a week before the American premier! HA, TAKE THAT REST OF AMERICA!!!

@llordllama we all miss something

I was clearly laughing too hard at the "funny robots" line to catch that bit :)
Somehow didn't watch this ep until now. Interesting contrast with the moff, I must admit I did love the melodrama of mr tennant. And running in around in corridors can never get old! Much. I might have to review some of my thoughts on the end of time now. Still got to watch the bus one now.

@gadgetgeekgirl Don't worry about the Planet of the Dead. Aside from Tennants opening line pre-credits you're not missing much. But Waters was a real high point! A high watermark?!

BBCAmerica showed the 2009 Christmas specials on the 26th and on Jan 2.

So only a day behind for once - nice! Now if only the UK showed shows a day behind the states!
