Q: we see a multitude of other R airspace # Designations
(2524, 2505, etc..) some attached or abutting 2515.
your Dir. AJO to BIH, entering the "Buckhorn" MOA,
then just east of Edwards, then barely skirting R-2505 to the West.
had your route also taken you thru any of these others, would you have needed to contact additional agencies, seperately?....
or could "one clearance" from Center or Approach, get you thru an entire "Cluster" of these Airspaces? thanks!

are you Tuned to Oakland Center after bishop? or are you on Bryant fields traffic frequency?

Great video, I didn't realize they had a cafe, I'll have to check out your website to see if it was any good. I haven't flown north since Bishop closed their restaurant.

Hey Frank question. When you say "mixture where you want it" I know that means you have it set for best power at your alt. incease you needed to go around, but I am wondering, how do you find the proper leaning of the mixture when your approaching the airport and constantly changing your power? Thanks

@Zdogs22 - Push it in just enough to loose some power.

Frank, were you under radar contact with an approach or center all the way up Bridgeport?
srstacy 2 years ago
No, before Bishop approach looses you and you're below center radar even at 12,500.
