Wonderful, mind opening book digging into quantum:)

I've always wanted to read this book but couldn't find it in bookstores. So finally I managed to get its audio version.

It digs deeper into quantum mechanics.

Gary Zukav has written "the Bible" for those who are curious about the mind-expanding discoveries of advanced physics, but who have no scientific background. Like a Wu Li Master who would teach us wonder for the falling petal before speaking of gravity, Zukav writes in beautifully clear language--with no mathematical equations--opening our minds to the exciting new theories that are beginning to embrace the ultimate nature of our universe...Quantum mechanics, relativity, and beyond to the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen effect and Bell's theorem.

"Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends upon what we think. What we think depends upon what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. what we take to be true is our reality."

EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED :)

  • stones have feelings too... Being a lover of Taoist thought, I loved the simplicity of Au Wong's definitions especially of the defintion of a Master: "someone who started before you did." love it. although some of my Masters started after I did, they just practiced more... lol. Awesome book.

  • Where did u get this from?

  • One of my favorite books.. really another perspective to physics and understanding of our world ....one thing though ....... !@#$! greeks have said all that should be said about all this a couple of thsnd yrs ago .... gary gets credit for reminding us stuff like this in a popular and understandble way

  • I think it's wonderful that you've posted this audio so people can have free access to it. Many people would never even know about it if they didn't find it on YouTube. I believe it's important for people to listen to this. Thank you so much.

  • Is this the whole book? or is it just an excerpt?

  • @svliving The key word in your comment is that you "HAD" to do it. Then it just becomes you didn't like it being out of your own control. You are then thinking in as a technician rather than understanding it as a Scientist! ....and that exactly what Gary is talking about when differentiating the two disciplines. Forced? without questions you HAD no answers to FIND!

  • awesome ! THANKS !!!!!!!

  • I had to read this book as a physics novel study and I hated it!! I'm pretty open minded about books and I adore most aspects of science, but I just could not get into this book!

  • It is EASY and JOYFUL to understand, just lie back and listen and enjoy.
