National Alzheimer's Project Act (NAPA) - Alzheimer's Association - Greater Dallas Chapter - My 2nd event with the Greater Dallas Chapter, and learning more on how to be an active advocate - I was the youngest one there lol - and my 2 concerns that I have come across were 1. the lack of knowledge given out via the media/handouts/pamphlets (others felt the same) 2. The negative stigma people have towards those with Alzheimer's or Dementia, people who are not aware of it or understand it tend to be scared or uneasy visiting the Memory Care Neighborhood.
