What is everyone's opinion on Ben Shephard becoming the new host of The Krypton Factor.

I am about to receive the first edition of the 1995 series of The Krypton Factor very soon.

Congratulations! I already have the first episode of 1995 Krypton Factor but it has the bottom cut off. Does your copy have the same condition?

Ben Shephard might be able to pull The Krypton Factor off, my gripe is that no doubt ITV will have it sponsored.

And I enjoyed that version, including the Super Round. My favorite part was the Kryptic Rings, but I wasn't sure how it worked. Did the players have to find a computer password in the Rings as they found their way out, or just their color indicators?

That first image, with the names McAllister, Lewin, Rimmer, and Helman, comes from the 1981 International special, does it not? I would like to see that, if a copy exists on video.

@allenjeremy to be honest with you, I really didn't like it. I thought it was too modernised in my opinion.

It's an interesting choice of host, but I reckon he might be aple to pull it off despite the pressure to live up to the standard Gordon Burns set. I'll be watching this coming Thursday evening with anticipation. Let's hope the "21st century makeover" doesn't make the show any less watchable.
