I don't know much about the 428 FE motors, or FE motors in general as they are a rich "kids" play thing. The 351 Cleveland can go pretty far, about 600-650 HP is really pushing the US blocks past their limitsthe Aussie blocks can do about 700 hp all motor because they are cast a tiny bit thicker and have more nickel in them.

Depends on what you've got to work with, 550-600 HP is easy with the 460 blocks. d1ve blocks can go to about 800 hp but you're REALLY pushing your luck at that point. The '79 and newer 460 blocks are a bit stronger and can go as far as 1000 hp, but that costs a LOT of money
