E-Mart is a pretty good place to shop for food, and other stuff. It's not that good for clothes, unless you are a Korean-sized person. It's the Korean equivalent to the Walmart-one-stop-shopping experience.

  • Hey :O) Just a little piece of info - those little...petrified fish (as you called them ^_^) at 2:02 are actually anchovies (멸치). Koreans use them dry to make snacks, to make side dishes and to make wonderful broths once the gut is removed. Have you ever had 떡볶이 (Ddeokbokki / spicy rice cakes)? they are often use in the base of the spicy sauce before adding the rice cakes :O)

  • @hehehe08 I KNOW WHAT EVERYTHING IS IN THIS VIDEO! I know what 멸치 is I know what 떡볶이 is. The point of this video is only to say that on the outside it looks like a western grocery store, but most of the food is Korean. That's all. The point is not that I don't like Korean food... Korean food is awesome.

  • What about steaks?

  • @Midnightryder7 - There are a couple Costco stores in Korea, that have good steaks for pretty good prices... But still pretty expensive.

  • a lot of ppl need to come and see your videos more:)

  • @peach0tree Thanks!

  • idk why it takes forever to load this video...

  • I don't think you can go into a Korean grocery store and expect a lot of things to be labelled in English, but I do understand where you are coming from.

My family moved to Canada, and we all had to learn English and had to learn to identify the different food that were found in Canadian grocery stores since close to nothing we ever found would be labelled in Korean.

  • wearing Tokyo shirt in korea ...

  • Walmart sells mostly Made in China goods while Emart sells a lot of domestic made brands
