Make Gmod Maps!

This is a tutorial on how to set up the Source SDK for gmod. It will work just like any other game you map for. The only thing is this requires one of the games from the Orange Box. whenever i put garrysmod.fgd in the game data files,just after i press add,the program freezes.how can i solve this?

@thekillingjimmy I'd contact steam support or search the hammer wiki. I've never encountered your problem before.

Quick question: To test the map would it be from the map selection or would I have to open it via developer console?

@SpeedDemon14pwndyou dont bother,pal.i found out about the problem.it was just because i had only hammer editor and not the full source sdk package.thnx for the reply ;)
