Here's some more things you should look at: 1. Write original guitar parts that aren't taken from 'Under the Bridge' by the Chilli Peppers 2. Don't write singing parts that copy the guitar line 3. Don't expect fans from X Factor to swallow whatever you do, especially poorly written 'originals'. Just my opinion. But you've definitely ripped off Under the Bridge. I liked you on X Factor, and your covers, and thats probably where you should stay??? We have some fantastic covers bars in Melbourne

@mastersonline13 Hi, thanks for the feedback. Whilst I appreciate it, I think some of your comments were a bit negative. I went & checked out your profile.. seems you only joined youtube yesterday & you haven't done anything but comment on my video.. Who are you? I can see that there is one second of the guitar that sounds similar to 'Under the Bridge', however this can be changed & the rest of the song has a completely different chord progression and can stand on it's own without this.

Hey Sophie I'm not being an ass here cause this song is really good as a whole there a just a couple things I think you should look at (only my opinion remember). I think you should have a ~2sec pause between "you'll make it through" & the start of the chorus (start chorus ~2:10 instead of 2:08). I would prefer the chorus without the echo (just seems a little too strong imo), and I think you should only repeat it twice (i.e. omit 2nd & 3rd repeat @2:23->2:52 but keep 1st & 4th repeats).

@mastersonline13 Dude, there is the slightest bit of resemblance at the beginning of the piece, give it a rest. If the music of one musician resembles another musician’s music it generally means that person has a high regard for the piece, even if they don’t mean to show it. Writing a piece of music is something not many people can truly master and I applaud this girl for giving it a shot and succeeding.
