Batty Koda's message

I've figured Batty would be a great spokes-animal for all the animals who are in animal laboratories right now.

Every 26 seconds, an animal dies from useless tests. It get serious after the first few seconds.

Its so sad. And it should be stopped. But is that possible? If only our theorys were always precise, we wouldnt have to do this. But, if we dont do this, wont that cause us to die? I dont know what to think. But it is bad to abuse animals.

Animal testing is somewhat (only somewhat) justified in cases when the product tested is really something potentially useful, like cures to deadly diseases.

But any testing of cosmetics of any kind and stuff that's really not useful to mankind, animal testing is NO NO NO!!! If you think it's safe, test on volunteer humans! If not then DON'T put it on the market at all!

The monkey photos in this are just devastating, although the others are nasty as well.

However, I do have a few words of constructive criticism.

A. At 0:27, perhaps it would have been more appropriate to show a picture of cosmetic products.

B. At 2:46, the image of the rabbit with its side cut open (at 2:13) would have fit the dialogue ("Just take a little off the side there") better than the image you did use.

Other than that, I've no complaints.

I have always felt that scientists who use animals as test subjects for their experiments are cowards who are afraid to use themselves as test subjects. I mean, how does using experimental medications on mice, rats, rabbits, etc. indicate how humans would react to such medications? Those animals are not related to humans! Monkeys are more closely related to humans, but even their reactions don't necessarily mean anything. Experimenting on humans is the only way to be sure.
