Is this the best Canada can do? I mean, she's beautiful and talented, but she wouldn't get past the top 6 in ANY American Idol season. She needs voice lessons like crazy. She has the ABILITY to sing great, she's hot and has charisma, but if she has a voice instructor, she needs fire his/her ass. I saw her on a Sony billboard today. I nearly fell into the street. She's a knockout. As for the judges, I mean get professionals. Jake who? Who's the blond? Celine Dion would be an improvement....

You've got to be kidding.... there have been some seriously shitty american idol contestants. Commenting on her looks and not her talent is just sexist. She is very talented. As for the judges, maybe you need to educate yourself about the canadian industry and you'd know who they were

i'm from the states and i hardly agree with surfer53. She'd blow away the competition here (and did i mention she's also drop dead gorgeous), the only thing that remains to be seen is that she doesn't know when to not belt and this is a much more solemn song. same thing with killing me softly.
