ronnie was pretty fast back then

@Mr2010Master Must give Higgins his due though, there is still no finer tactician on the baize. Will always favour him in a safety battle over anyone. That's why he's still up there despite his potting and positioning not being quite what they once were. He even gracefully admitted that Judd Trump was the better player in the WSC final this year. Now there's a player who has the potential to outshine both these legends of the sport. I reckon Trump will win the UK championship this year

@cpacoustic Yeah,I agree with you. Ronnie at his best is a total machine who totally destroys his opponents. Look at Wc 2004,Masters 2005 or Wc 2008. The opponents of him didn't even have a mini chance because he owned them all.Ronnie coasted to the titles. Comparing O'Sullivan to Higgins many experts agree that Ronnie is the bigger genius because he has more skills and more talent than Higgins.

@rvpnumb Nah, back then Hendry was still the absolute best and Ronnie was still learning from him. They all were. If they hadn't Hendry would have continued to dominate the first half of the last decade I feel. Ronnie definately should have the same number of World Titles as Higgins though, they're the best two players of the last decade by a mile.
