i found it easier to add minecraft the wrong way and launch it through steam
-
Great I was looking for a solution for hours.
Thanks a whole bunch:D
-
now if only mojang can get it to download from a cloud and some means of linking your MC account to steam accounts.
-
Correction to my last comment, you actually haven't helped, all you've done is made steam launch MC in 32bit, so I coulda just done that myself.
-
thanks for this been trying to find a fix and for a while now I finally found one thanks to you, "you have saved our lives we are eternally grateful"
-
I wish it would tell you how many hours you have been playing.

@NexonPR0 yes, we do. Tell notch and steam that. Im well aware this uses 32 bit. I even say that in the video. It doesnt work with 64 bit. Period.
Does this video get minecraft working on 64 bit windows through steam? Yes. So how am I a moron for showing how?

@drangob123 You are very observant. Here's a cookie.
For some people this will work with 64 bit java. For most it won't (not through steam). If you want it in steam with the overlay, you will likely HAVE to use 32 bit one.
