Arena ball was significantly different, for the playing field size (50 yards x 85 feet, with 8 yard endzones) and nets for kickoffs and an occasional intentional passing play. Between the two tight nets was a slack net for field goals, about half the size of a NFL goal. No punting allowed, and 8 players to each side with forward motion allowed like the CFL, however the NFL doesn't allow that.
It's a great game. Sad to see its painful demise just recently.
