Wonderful video! At age 51, I'm teaching myself to sew/quilt and am enjoying it more than I imagined. I have learned so much from all of your tutorials. Keep 'em coming!

I have made many pillowcases, but never using this tube method. I prefer cutting a 1" trim to finish 1/4". It never pops up. I'll always use this tube method from now on. I have quilted for 32 years, so I started with scissors and cardboard templates and yardage. I enjoy seeing the speedier methods using precuts. I have currently finished 150 quilts (some are still tops...well, 25 are) but my favorite size and a great many are a queen/king--100" square.

It's a good question. Thanks for asking! The fabric is 44" on the bolt. So, the pillow case was cut at 27" x 44" then a 9" x 44" cuff and 2" x 44" accent piece. Hope you'll give it another try.

Thank you for your kind words! I think after 7 children, Jenny might pass on adding another, unless you'd like to be a grandchild :) We're happy you've found us and are glad to help as you start your quilting journey. Have fun...and Happy Birthday, soon!

Ok, maybe I'm the weird one of the bunch. I used your video to make a pillow case for my grand daughter to match her quilt I made. While I followed your directions I found that the case is wAy too small for a pillow. I noticed after watching your video about a dozen times, that you take your measurements from a bolt. I was using left overs from the quilt. Can u tell what the exact cutting measurement are. I assumed your bolts were 42/44 in. Thx for your tutorials
