The Abduction

This is an animation that I made for Lighting of the Amphitheatre 2009, a large-scale projection event at the University of Virginia. The theme of the project was seasons, so we decided to do the abduction of Persephone by Hades in Greek mythology. As the story goes, the event caused Persephone's mother, the goddess of the harvest, to fall into deep depression when her daughter was taken to the underworld, which lead all the crops and plants to whither.
