@EJNewbury Yeah and probably the most fans. It would be worth the expenses and effort to make them, people would be satisfied. Hopefully the actors would stay interested in playing the same characters.

@oteptea I agree with you, I'm just sure it's easier said then done. If you were going to make an on-going sage of a superhero comic, though, it would be X-Men. It has some of the richest themes of social dynamics and politics; philosophy, humanities. As long as they don't just focus on two hours of blowing shut up - I'm happy.
-
@EJNewbury Then the film-maker shouldn't be opposed to making at least a saga of long movies. I think major scenes that center around other characters than Wolverine would be interesting to the audience, I would like to see them.
-
@oteptea I agree, but, I do also see the problem from the film-makers perspective; you're trying to make a 2 hour move, that will sell, out of 60 years of story. It's simply an overwhelming task. As far as the character part is concerned, I actually blame our culture. We're far too obsessed with the rebellious archtype. I mean, how unoriginal is it now. I think all the X-men should have gotten story time, but it ended up being all about Wolverine.
-
@EJNewbury I think an explanation on the story of the characters wasn't done well in the X-MEN movies, causing the movies and characters to be less interesting then they could have been. Perhaps the future sequels will improve on this.
-
@EJNewbury That wasn't explained very well in this movie.
-
@oteptea Yea, in my opinion, they're pretty cut from the same cloth. There are differences of course, but more then a few similarities. Furthermore, Cyclops is a massively under-appreciated character, I've always thought that he plays the "burden of command" theme very well.
I like this scene and how logan's character develops from an ungrateful punk to a loyal and admirable x-men!

Biguy617, shut up. Your doing nothing but complaining. Go write your own x-men reboot movie if you hate it so much.
