One of the major summertime events for the locals in Unalaska Alaska is to catch the Red Salmon when they are returning to spawn. My Aleut neighbors just caught a bunch and in the process of cleaning the fish a bunch of eagles showed up to fight over the remains.

I grew up in Alaska before the pipeline. The wildlife is amazing there. I saw your first video too. So glad to see the children weren't running amongst them this time :)

Yeah, shit gets freaky up north lol. In the arctic circle, people experience 'midnight sun' in the summer, when the sun doesn't set for a few weeks/months and 'polar nights' in winter, when the sun doesn't rise for a few weeks/months.

It is. In the summer time months they barely have night time, if any at all.

This video is amazing. I just recently just moved to Eielson AFB, AK. I was born and raised in Panama City, FL. A couple weeks ago it got up to 40 or so and I started to see the grass around that time. I never would have imagined I would think 40 degrees felt WARM. My husband and everyone else around me here is dreading all daylight, but I'm absolutely looking forward to it; if I'm going to have a change of scenery, I want it COMPLETELY different than what I've spent 21 years in. Lol.

I live right next to Boston,Ma and have a pair of young bald eagles living the Chelsea Creek; thanks to the clean harbor efforts. Imagine eagles in the city!
