ONE RHYTHM (CELEBRATING ONENESS and the SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY)

One Rhythm was a charity event hosted at Body Sport Capoeira in Long Beach. It was organized by Liliana Paloma. People who attended were treated to a fun night of entertainment which included Samba Performances, Comedy, music... The night was ended with a couple of hours of social dancing featuring Samba, Contemporary and International music.

ABCR Cajado de Prata is a Community Outreach Center located in the favela (shantytown) of Tancredo Neves in Salvador, Bahia -- Brazil. ABCR has partnered with Brazil Without Barriers, a non-profit organization headquartered here in our very own Long Beach, CA, to help break down barriers of social and educational change. Brazil Without Barriers provides international support to ABCR to help run and maintain the center, which acts as a before and after school program and an avenue for children and families to build and expand their dreams. ABCR is run by local volunteers, and offers free classes ranging from: Capoeira, Berimbau, Embroidery, Literacy, Basketball, Handicrafts to over 80 students,75% which are young children. www.brazilwithoutbarriers.org

FOUNDATION 101 is a non-profit art program located in Long Beach, CA. Foundation 101's mission is "To build self-esteem and individuality, develop and strengthen creativity, and stimulate the imagination of children through the arts." It's provides Free art classes for children who don't have access to enriching art programs. The aim of the program is to bring Art into the community where the children live for the purpose of creative expression, healing, communicating, and unifying children and community. http://foundation101.weebly.com/

The Purple Palace- Niños de la Promesa(children of the promise) is an orphanage inTijuana Mexico. The Purple Palace strives to provide a safe, loving, clean and healthy home environment for abandoned and abused children of the red light district in Tijuana.
