Creative Gift Wrapping Options - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats.

Now, I am going to show you how to wrap a gift. Of course, I am going to show you a traditional way to wrap a gift, but I am also going to show you some creative ideas of how you can make the presentation of your gift even more special, and eco-friendly to boot. For small items, a gift box is perfect. You can make it easy for yourself by just tying the bow in 1 direction. That way, you can slip it on and off. For other smaller items, you might want to consider an Organza bag, or a silk or velvet one to make it extra special. Simply slip the item in, and cinch the top, and your gift is done. A quick way to do a gift bag that comes out with a really professional look, here is what you want to do. Open the bag, and put your gift in the bottom of the bag. Take 2 pieces of tissue, twist them slightly, pop your hand in the center, and voila, the perfect fluff.

If you want to make your gift extra special, get them a container that works to hold their gift. This cupcake works perfect as a jewelry box. So you can give a decorative gift like this, that is actually 2 gifts in one, a jewelry holder, and a piece of jewelry. If you want to be extra eco-friendly, use some reusable bags to put your gift in. Decorative coin purses are great for small items, and pieces of jewelry, as well as gift cards. So they not only have a special place for their card, but a place to keep their money in afterwards. Decorative zip pouches, and make up cases are also great for medium sized items. Once again, the item goes inside, but they actually have a separate gift that they will keep on using in a different way all year long.

For larger items, consider a larger portfolio zip bag, or a decorative shopping tote. These tote sizes are great for taking to work, putting your lunch in, or just carrying some extra things on your way running errands. For a larger item, consider a decorative shopping tote. Once you have given your gift, your recipient can use them to take their groceries in and out of the grocery store, and they do not have to use the brown bags.
