@NZJcuzmw2 Hi there. Yes, I understand that PM Tom MacAllister is an extended version of The Links of Forth.

@dronechorus Yeah. "The Links of Forth" was originally just parts 1 through 4. After WWII the McAllisters found a tune manuscript for a four-parted march with no name on it. They say it was given to them "by the son of an old fiddler." J.K. McAllister said, "The melody haunted me," and on a train ride he composed four additional parts (5 through 8) and decided to call the tune after their father. Later they found out the tune already had a name. Most bands play parts 1 - 4 then 7 & 8.
