Pas De Deux was written by
Samuel Barber (An American composer)

Pas De Deux is a 20th century work, which has various Polyphonic lines, with melodies intertwining, as well as some Polytonality. I hope you enjoy this lovely, sexy, and beautiful piano piece.

I apologize for the tinny sound in the notes, the camera i'm using doesn't seem to pick up notes very well and makes everything sound thin and tinny :(

I'm hoping to upgrade to the new HF 10 by cannon coming out in a few months! (if i can scrounge together the money)

Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed it ^_^

  • @yanners0007 I would work on right hand fingering first alone, you will have to do a bunch of finger substitutions on p.2. Other than that its pretty straight forward. PS. Don't ignore the dotted noted length :P

  • this song is so hard....

  • i am currently practising this song for grade 10 piano. any tips?

  • @crazypianolady i'm sure if i had an external mic and good recording program things would be different. The camera with built-in mic really isn't made for capturing all the nuances in a classical performance.

  • @TheRealDanielAbreu I feel that way too. Even on the little pieces, it doesn't feel like I can get as much emotion into when I'm being recorded, but if I do the playback doesn't reflect it. Very bizarre....

  • @Lypur nice job by the way

  • @Lypur LOL! this feels like some kind of Gr.10 RCM reunion or something! I also played it for my Gr.10 and thinking of bringing it back sometime. Got a long list of pieces I want to do though :S Question for you: I just started recording my pieces. Do you find that YOUR recordings have a LESS dynamic contrast than what it is in real life?? It seems that way for me and its bothering me! I don't know if its my camera or if I'm imagining that I have better contrast in person

  • Amazing... It brought tears to my eyes

  • I love all your vids man, specially arabesque. good, good job..

  • hope you'll play winter sonata someday..^_^ you're so cool and awesome! I like you sir, ur like the guy from twilight and winter sonata, XD!!
