In the form of a young girl, nature rushes past the seasons and having spend all of her lifegiving energy in one go, she must rest again under the ground in winter.

This is my first real sand animation I did as an extra project for school. It was tricky and took me a while to get it right, but now I'm really pleased with the results, though of course, there's always room for improvement. So I hope to be able to experiment more with this technique and make a short series using sand animation.

The music is also a piece I composed for a different character from one of my comics. The song is called Winterflower and is played backwards for effect.

Prachtig gedaan, niet te geloven dat dit met zand is gemaakt O_O Tot nu, wist ik niet eens dat het mogelijk was.
