This is the part were that girl called Violet Beauregarde is turned in to a lide sized blueberry by her own folt! She eats this gum that Wonka tells her not to but that a little gum loveing kid for you.

This film inspired me so much as a kid! so much so I created Little White Horse...see if you can spot Veruka Salt or is it Violet Beauregarde?

This is why i like this version better then tim burton's and johnny depp, because in that version wonka is okay but the indifference of Wilder "no please stop" (said like he couldn;t care less) just made this film for me, also grandpa joe, i loved him especially "because charlie she's a nit-wit" sums up the character and situation perfectly.

I think the most disturbing aspect of this scene still is the fact that they make it clear time is of the essence to 'juice her(don't even wanna imagine were the juice comes out)' or she'll explode. But then the Oompa Loompas go on to just take their marry ol' time and sing a song.

I think he snapped because he had such high expectations for charlie, he yelled because it broke his heart that he stole from him, but thats my opinion though
