Mike Maurer Concussion

Skateboard fall and subsequent headsmash, causing a seizure and a major concussion, followed by many more seizures over a week and a half. Don't worry I am alive and making a nice recovery.

Even if the person seems alright after the head injury they are not out of the woods, they have to be watched. I recall a car accident i went to where a woman had no visible injury yet 10 minutes later she began saying the most bizarre stuff which indicates pressure is building inside the head. After another 5 minutes she was projectile vomiting. They can go from seeming perfectly fine to unconscious in little time.

i didnt know if this was real at first...but guess with paramedics showing up...it was.  and i dont know much about proper care of EMTs in a head injury...but seemed odd when they rolled him over and guy was running his hand down spine asking if that hurt.... doesnt seem like 'proper procedure' or whatever.....but then again was a head injury, not neck/back....but still..just seemed, i dunno....
