It clearly is designed for it, it has the rubber feet for it. It also has vents on the side, you are covering them by laying it horizontal. Just as the bottom vent is being covered by having it vertical.

(Cooling unit of the 360) 2 exhaust fans + duct = 100% negative airflow. Air is drawn from ANY vent and makes its way over the heatsinks into the duct and out the back. Irrespective of positioning air is drawn in and heated by surrounding components before cooling the CPU/ GPU

You do understand I actually thought it worked? When I told my brother his Xbox 360 Arcade wasn't working he didn't believe me. Only until after I showed him this video, it was seriously awkward because I thought it was actually going to work. I always bragged that we still had an Arcade that worked but that failed.

Might do the towel trick but a lot more extreme...

george...man you do know that the E74 is just an AV cable error right? i dont even have a 360 and know that lol...either you set that up or you had to have forgotten about it lol as much as you know i cant see you actually not knowing this man...funny video though lol =D

Actually the E74 isn't an AV cable issue. It is the most serious error of all, a hardware failure, next to the 3 flashing lights which means "general hardware failure" the 1 flashing light or E74 is a hardware failure. The AV cable issue can not be posted on the screen, as the cable has an issue, such as not being plugged in. All 4 lights flash if it is a cable issue.

EDIT: 3 flashing lights can be worse as more than 1 component has issues.

You thought Xbox was reliable?? Haha! I went through 4 of these shitboxes whilst i had the ps3. Yes, i still got my ps3 and it still works now (over 4 years now without problems) and all those xbox's 4 died. Goes to show that ps3 got soo much more quality than the Xbox :P
