The Desert Botanical Garden was one of the first places to visit shortly after relocating in Arizona in 2005. Who would ever believe that the Desert could be so beautiful! What a wonderful place to visit!

  • Wow!! Amazing indeed the countless number of species thriving in a desert environment!! I esp apprciate the intricate flowers of the cacti! So beautiful & precious! I wonder how big this botanical Garden is? I also wanna ask what is at 2:59?

  • @kidowmer Hi Annette, I really enjoyed the Botanical Gardens. It was in 2005 when I was there. I couldn't find any literature on it, so today I stopped by and got the information that you were asking about. I posted the information on facebook for you.... The plant is called a Lithop. There are over 50,000 plants on display & the garden is 145 acres. I would assume your measurements are different since this is the USA... It was in May when I was there in 2005.
