遺伝子組み換えの技術について記事を読む

Hows my pronunciation and stuff? I haven't really worked on it yet XD Interesting article though :) I did my best at translation for the subtitles but I know some parts I didn't exactly nail it.

植物や動物など、いろいろなものが人間が使いやすいように品種改良されているんだ。農作物なら作りやすく、おいしくすることなどを目指して、研究が行われているよ。
品種改良にはさまざまな方法があるけれど、遺伝子(いでんし)組みかえの技術を使って、青いバラが作られたそうなんだ。バラの花には青い色は絶対に作れないとされていたけ­れど、研究に14年もかけて、世界で初めて成功したんだって。
バラの花は、もともとの野生種は200種類くらいで、そこから品種改良されたものが5万種類くらいあるそうだよ。

HEllo.. i know you probably wont respond or havent checked this in a while but.. Im 14. I want to learn japanese because i would like to go to japan someday. I am taking japanese for my freshman year and it seeems so hard, i know i can do it. but thing is, ive never been into Anime and manga and japanese music. that makes me worry if im wasting my time and if its gonna be hard for me to learn the natural way such as u said in your first few blogs. if u could please let me know what you would do
