This was great, but it's hard for me to appreciate it because I saw the original cast with Brian Stokes Mitchell.

Was this man also in Miss Saigon? He sounds familiar.

Wow! Quentin's performance of Coalhouse is incredible. These short 32 seconds gave me chills, but I want more! PLEASE post a video of him performing the entire song.
-

I would LOVE to see Jesse L. Martin as Coalhouse.

eh, i think quentin is an amazing performer i am just not a fan of him in this role.

The emotion in Little Brother's face, especially his eyes...wrecked me. In my mind that's what makes a great performer. The focus isn't on him at all, but he is fully committed to the scene without drawing focus to himself. I wish I could have seen this production. EVERYONE sounds so amazing

I saw Quentin Earl Darrington at the Drury Lane Theatre in Illinois. He was spectacular! His acting and voice had me in tears by the end of the show!
This has become one of my favorites

I can't believe this show is no longer on Broadway, I saw it 4 times, would've went to see it over & over again, the cast was amazing as well as the music, scenery etc. I will highly miss it.

@mormonophobic not to sound rude or anything, in my opinion younger brother is one of the most important and meaningful characters in the show
-
i play younger brother in our school production
Quentin Earl Darrington's brilliant performance gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. This extraordinary production closed way too soon. :(

I've seen Bobby (younger brother) 4 times recently and he is totally amazing! He tells it all in his eyes and has conviction in his voice.
