@ms0487a Nah. There aregood songs here and there in every era, but there's been an abundance of trash since the turn of the millenium. I thinkj it's been a slow decline since the 70's. Actually, I would take the 90's over the 80's...there was so much wackness in the 80's.

Nas has done many songs without always talking about tha same things over and over. Nas came up as an artist n is THE MASTER of all elements of hip hop. From spittin rhymes to telling a vivid story. Nas is THE BEST to do it.
