You really think that if we take religion away, people would suddenly stop doing good?

Please, don't be so presumptuous.

Was that my presumption? No.

My emphasis was rather that the add attaches a positive social or personal effect to the rejection of religious belief, something which sociological research is completely contrary to. In fact religious faith correlates strongly with both physical and emotional resilience, along with increased rates of volunteer work and other such non-obligatory community actions.

This does not of course prove religions or atheism correct. It simply contradicts this ad.
