If atheists are to be constant, they must acknowledge the plethora of secular social research that points to the positive effects that various religious beliefs have upon society. If atheism is to remain compatible with science these are things that must be taken into account into atheist critiques of religion.
So I think this add is ineffective on that count, as it essentially implies a positive social or personal effect to the rejection of religious belief.
My emphasis was rather that the add attaches a positive social or personal effect to the rejection of religious belief, something which sociological research is completely contrary to. In fact religious faith correlates strongly with both physical and emotional resilience, along with increased rates of volunteer work and other such non-obligatory community actions.
This does not of course prove religions or atheism correct. It simply contradicts this ad.

Please, don't be so presumptuous.
