  • Just to clarify...that's not a pilot chute...its what is known as a "Drogue". It's there to slow down a tandem pair so that your videographer can keep up and so that you don't snap your body in half when you actually open the chute...since you're going way faster than if you were solo jumping.

  • The sky is not the limit.....the ground is....

  • whats the name of the song at 2:40 ? Please reply, I really need to know

  • @Comecyte9393 wow that actually makes sense

  • niedobryy!!!!! double high??? wtf!!!

  • @pilch808 I know it's the key word - that's why I used it. Note I said "rate of acceleration," not speed. I was responding to drumatic86, who said "because of the extra weight, you're going to fall faster." That's impossible - extra weight does not make you fall faster. They're not my rules - they're the laws of physics.

  • "double high" ;-)

..good thing you were only a belly wart then..

there is a time and PLACE for everything,.

  • @meatgreet Yes and no. Yes objects of different weights will accelerate at the same speed. Accelerate being the key word. But no they will not have a fall rate any where near the same speed. General laws of physics do not include wind resistance. I have seen someone lose their shoe immediately upon jumping, do the skydive and canopy flight, land and then the shoe landed near by. By your rules the shoe should have landed first. I skydive allot, so if you have any questions, just ask. :)

  • @meatgreet i think the drogue is mainly for stabilisation

  • @drumatic86 I don't know anything about skydiving, but that's impossible under the rules of physics -- everything falls at the same rate of acceleration regardless of weight. A 30-pound child and a 400-pound man would fall at the exact same rate.

  • @animaldude55 the plane would drop like a stone xD
