Never cut a piece of wood on a cooler. Don't listen to all the facts in this video he gave some wrong facts, when a chain throws, which is when a chain comes off the bar, it does not fly up towards you, it goes down because the saw is forcing it down and that's why there is a foot pad so it does not hit your hand. You should look into more videos on chainsaw safety, trust me I am a logger. I have nothing against these videos I actually like them but you have to look into it a little more.

@InvestorClass were in the fuck can u rent a chainsaw?

This is really great....thank you. I've been taught to fear the 'kick back' but with this video advice, I feel more informed on how to use a chainsaw better. THANK YOU!!!

Will you cut this log or what?

Nice movie !

Whatever you do, don't turn your back on your chainsaw. A friend of mine was seriously injured when his saw went feral and crept up and bit him on the ass.
You should be stopped!!

Maybe you should mention the proper clothing and safety gear that should be warn during chainsawing. i know a lot of idiots who think all they need is shorts and tennis shoes and say "oh i wont cut my self maybe just some sawdust"

the oiler on my ryobi 40cc is not working, is there any external oilers that can be fitted..

Needs better shoes for safety overall Good Job

"Kickback"?! I was going to rent a chainsaw to cut up a tree that fell in my back this weekend but this video has informed me that I'm going to need to call a professional. Thanks for posting expertvillage.

Hi ahtijrve, this drew guy is pretty much not an expert, but if you cant see how an 066 or 880 or 3120 can kickback faster than your control of it, you aint been "logging" hard and nasty. Bucking gets extreme too!.
