? for ya i notice these are all educated black people who have the right identity but how do you get the ones (black folks) who really need to hear and see this to want to watch it?
@wdemps1 Filming those people specifically and adding their view points on identity would be the best solution. It is a theory in film that the audience seeks to identify or find similarities with characters on screen. However, this was for class, so I didn't have the time or resources to film many people. I was fortunate enough that my aunt was a professor who taught on subjects such as this one and had friends available for filming, but I would like to expand this documentary at some point.
