High School In This Series Starts At Gr.10 Just So You People Know

after school Joe and Kate started walking home. Joe was telling Kate storys about a bunch of people he met.

Joe: i also met this one girl. Everyone thinks that i should ask her out but i dont know...
Kate: oh..why dont you know.
Joe: i already really like this other girl.
Kate: ohh. *to hurt to ask him who*
Joe: *sees that shes upset* wanna come over?
Kate: *brightens up a little* sure. we have to babysit frankie anyway.
Joe: oh right. i forgot about that.
Kate: *laughs*
They keep walking to Joes house and go inside. No one was home but Joe saw a note his mom left on the counter.

We took Frankie to the dentist. he had an unexpected appointment. we will be home soon. love you

Joe: looks like were gonna be here awhile. want to watch a movie?
Kate: *sits on the couch* okay.
Joe: or do u want to play Guitar hero?
Kate: come on. you know i dont know how to play.
Joe: *grabs the guitar and lets her hold it* ill help you. lets play it together until you get the hang of it.
Kate: *warms up inside* okay.

Kates POV
Joe had is arms around me while we played a really long song. his hands were on top of mine and our heads were really close together. i didnt want to fall in love with Joe..but it was so hard not to. But i have to forget about it anyway. he likes another girl.

After the song finished Kate didnt want Joe to let go of her. But the thing is... Joe also didnt want to let go of her.

Joe set the guitar down and kept his arms around her. He looked into her eyes. She looked back into his.

Kate: thanks. *starts to shiver*
Joe: are you cold?
Kate: a little. ill go get my sweater.
Joe: no its okay. * lies down with her and warms her up*
Kate: thanks. *smiles*
Joe kept leaning in closer to her. and he kept pulling her closer to him.

Joes POV
i want to kiss her. i love her so much. i cant hide it anymore. im just a few centimeters away from kissing the girl of my dreams...
