  • During the semis, Cronje was clearly not out as the bowl had hit his boot. And South Africa failed by a single run. His wicket could have made a difference to the outcome regardless of his form (he was in poor form during the 'Cup). Teams need to be allowed to refer a certain number of decisions to the TV umpire. It may slow the game a bit, but dont we World Cups to produce results in the fairest manner possible ? ICC will never learn lessons from the past.

  • Unfortunately it wouldn't work given that every single dubious catch referred to the TV umpire is not out, and we want to speed up the game rather than slow it down.

  • i remember when the best fielder in the world Herschelle Gibbs dropped the catch Steve waugh the mr dependable went upto him and told him you just dropped the world cup mate. this is a true example of a great authoritarian batsmen. so sure of his mission.

  • What an innings that was..What a captain Steve Waugh was. His self belief, will power & determination won him the World Cup 1999. To me the best captain ever. Gibbs must have cursed himself after giving a chance to such a great batsman

  • Sucked in Gibbs. He was looking at Steve Waugh as he was throwing it up in celebration. Arrogance cost him.

  • does`ni it seem that gibbs dropped the catch deliberately@4.00?????

  • 3:32 The moment Australia won the cup...

  • One of the top notch comebacks by Aus who started the tournaments with losses to WI and Scotland and then won 6 in a row including twice vs SA. Steve Waugh was a rock in his prime.

  • Nice slide show dumbass

  • @DaCoolestNerdXD1 great man that took money to lose cricket matches, what a great man indeed

  • @silentemergency He's dead now so shut up he was a great man
