Panis Angelicus by César Franck

From a performance given by the Latin Schola of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, directed by Kathleen Winters, in Costa Mesa, California, on the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, June 24th, 2011.

Soloist is Lina Mafi.

The organ sounds to be out of sync with the choir because the camera was significantly closer to one than the other. The sound-lag comes from the amount of time it takes for the choir's singing to reach the microphone.

English translation:
The bread of the angels becomes the bread of man; the bread of heaven is given a bounded form. O wondrous thing! The poor, the slave, and the humble man feed on their Lord.
