Love to hear different covers of songs I love... it's pretty cool but somebody should kill that bassdrum and the vocals-synths from 93'.

Half-assed effort. The arrangement is oversimplified and loses a lot of the delicious harmonies of the original, the key's too high for the singer, forcing her to drop the chorus by an octave, making it a complete anticlimax instead of the satisfying emotional surge it's supposed to be. I don't mind covers that depart from the original in a way that adds something new and exciting or presents a song in a different or original way, but this just sounds like they weren't even trying.

music is about individual taste this version has it's place but there is only one version of this fabulous song and that is done by ultravox and it has to be the live version which is the most powerful song i have ever heard!!!

Difficult version! I really adore the voice of Technoir, but the sound is a bit cheesy and the bass-drum is stupidly pumping. I miss the great, baroque feeling of the original. Anyway...
