Somewhere In Time Cover

I own nothing but my voice. If singing this violates any copyrights or something just let me know.

So this is one of my favorite songs, the theme from Somewhere in Time (Music by John Barry). I picked my favorites lyrics (Michael Crawford's of course, though I varied it a little to fit the piano piece) and sang it to my favorite rendition (although it feels almost like sacrilege to sing over John Tesh's piano playing). Nothing too fancy.

Now seeing as I didn't pick the key, this might be a bit "too much." I mean, my voice goes pretty high (think 5th Element Diva high) but I tend to try to be less obnoxious and sing lower if I can control the key the song is played in. So if this sounds like crap (I was trying to not get too operatic) just let me know and I'll take it down. If not, I hope you enjoy.

And sorry about my constant poking at my eye. It's really bothering me. Has been since yesterday. Heck, I suggest NOT watching the video and just listening. I'm just sitting there singing. Not interesting :P This was just another song that I was too loud for the mic to handle, so I had to video it...

And sorry about the obstruction at the bottom of the video. I tried recording this on my old camera, which can be sat up properly, but it wouldn't download, so I had to switch to my camcorder which required some low-tech propping and it got in the way of the lens. But by the time I got this recording done I was sick of screwing around and just rolled with it. That's also why I'm so friggin' close to the camera. lol

I suggest renting and watching the movie. It's romantic, yes, but it's very clever and it's got Christopher Reeve, Christopher Plummer, and Jane Seymour in it so it's naturally awesome. I don't know anyone who doesn't like it, guy or girl.

I am very tired. lol I shouldn't be up this late but there's some sort of power outage on the next street over and the city sent out people at 11 to fix it and they're still not done and making a huge racket. I'll not be able to sleep until they leave...
