  • Far much more better version than Horne's. Faster and violent, just like the wild winds of the storm the song talks about. Extraordinary collatura and impecable Italian pronunciation. This is an example of how barroque orchestras are radically changing the way these works are performed. No more stiff, fat singers that can barely move across the stage. This music is very much alive, and the old boring ways it used to be played have ended for good.

  • This primitive pop falsettist, teddy-bear PJ can sing about somewhat anger?! LOL Please don't make me laugh!

  • @oliviasmulyan Cecilia singing this, that would be too much to handel for me lol xD I really hope she will! That would be OUT OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!|

  • this version is great! but imagine cecilia bartoli doing this!

  • Marylin Horn ??? It's a joke ???

    Povero barocco ...

    :(

  • Woow... great...

  • The orchestra is AMAZING. I dont really like the singer, but he's fine.

  • @Cesconegre I listened to both Ms Horne and Ms Mijanovic. Both whom are great singers in their own rights. However, they are out of their element with this aria. It was originally sung by Lucia Lancetti a contralto. Ms Horne and Ms Mijanovic are trying too hard to project a male sound and they both fail to remember to sing in a crisp clear voice with the sparkle that is needed for this aria. Orlando in the original poem is a very conceited arrogant man.
