Amazing, I will be there and I can't wait !!!! Why would he not want to sing at the MET :( Thank you for all of this information ! He deffenitly consolidated my love for Opera and inspired me to go alot more. I recently saw dr. Atomic, a very strange John Adams, and 2 great performances of Lucia !

According to what I heard, he felt that MET was too big for his voice.... but I never felt his voice was small. In fact as a light tenor, his voice is big enough.

I think he once sung at MET, but then decided not to do it again. Anyway, these days, he is active in Europe and also he frequently visits Japan for opera and concert/recital performances.

De mieux en mieux Siragusa (vocalises, nuances, phrasé)!! L'autre chanteur est plus épais et l'orchestre pas terrible (accompagnement plat et juste guilleret dans la partie rapide).

He will sing at Rossini Opera Festival in 2009 again. This time in the opera called "SIGISMONDO" (from 10th to 19th August ), although it is not written on ROF's official site yet.
