This is a demonstration of the Lab Series L5. Made in the late 1970's. There arent a whole lot of decent quality demos of this amp around, and not everyone can find one in a local music store to try out, so I figured I would make a little demonstration for you all. I own a bunch of tube amps, and this is still one of my favorite amps!

This particular model is a 100 watt 2x12, 2 channel. Similar amps were/are used by Ty Tabor, BB King, Ronnie Montrose, Allan Holdsworth, and others.

  • i own a 1975 L5 and it is awesome!

  • I have a '79 LAB L5, and like you said, even though I have tube amps, the L5 is my fav!

  • Nice demo sir! I just picked up an L9 today, but I can't play it as the baby is sleeping, so I'm getting my jollies off of your playing instead! Thanks for the fix.
