@eqsmooth I don't doubt that you grew up in a place where people are oppressed, but you cannot logically blame it on "rich white people, politicians, and menthol cigarette producers" because you are categorizing and labeling, instead of pointing to specific people, the actual producers of the oppression. "Rich white people" didn't keep the talented kinds in the ghetto, it was their failure to educate themselves. The ghetto oppresses itself, if you want to change that, do it, because you can.

@Blush I grew up next to a ghetto left unincorporated by a very wealthy county. All the kids I played little league with, the most talented ones are all dead, in prison, alcoholics or crack addicts. None of them made it out and it was because of rich white people, politicians, menthol cigarette producers, malt liquor distributors, the cops and all the Uncle Toms supporting them. Do yourself a favor and watch Lawrence Fishburne's soliloquy in "Boys 'n the Hood" one more time. Then get back to me.

The release this week of yet another survey indicating the more you watch Fox News the less they know, has once again shone a spotlight on one of the unique features that defines Rupert Murdoch's cable news outlet - it is very, very good at misinforming people. And it's very bad at reporting the news. In other words: Propaganda? Yes. News? Not so much

@cisseshairdresser Why thank you but my intent was never to win anything. It was just to demonstrate that Canofsand was misdirecting his anger at the word of another towards me. Of course he never really justified his anger towards me or the person who made the comment that start all of this.Additionally he seems to have decided that the best way to deal with the subject is to ignore me or to make false claims about the context of my words. Neither of which have any baring on the matter at hand.

I was never trying to debate you because your meaningless diatribe isn't a subject worthy of debate. You realize that you want me to debate whether or not a claim that I never made based on a fictional character (that you have never claimed was real) was as evil as someone I don't know claims.
