i've seen the movie last week in art history lessons, i loved it, the music is so awesome.. could someone tell me the name of this song? i know its one of wim mertens' songs but i cant really find the title.

Brian Dennehy is superb, (sad and abused and egotistical and afraid, like many Americans in old Europe), as are Chloe Webb and the amazing Lambert Wilson. The story line addressed the fascistic impulse, in Rome and America, in Boulee and Kracklite and the movie was the least pretentious, most engaging and complex of all Greenaway's films, many of which do seem to want to bully the viewer and exclude her or him. I'm not a critic and don't want to be, "vicariously" (?) or otherwise.

Ok...i generally found the acting stale and banal. The supporting actors lacked depth, and the story line was slow and uninteresting. Does that meet your hign standards of critical analysis? Stop trying to live you life vicariuosly as a film critic. If someone wants to speak bluntly about a pretentious movie then they don't need to be berated by tools like you. Ha ha!
