PHENOMENAL. That scene when her son remembers what she did to him when he was 5 and she starts screaming... I could feel her feeling of shock in the pit of my stomach.

@digitaljimmy123 the dopest, there's just something so strangely genuine about it..

I have not seen the film but for me this sequence felt like a visual of Cohen's Hallalujah song.

after all she just dancing. all thing she for her son with no dout also it takes some life away. she dances because she want to feel her feeling after all. she still knows she be here.or she want to forget something ? her son?

@Raider577 I see it as a symbolic representation of the character trying to achieve a shallow form of happiness, but the emptiness of lifelong failures prevails to prevent her from truly enjoying anything. The worry and skepticism is plastered on her face expressing her inner fears and so on. By the end of the film you don't see her face, but for a split second when she is at the front of the bus, and she is indeed smiling gleefully and without a care in her heart. She is free.
She deserved the best actress oscar
