I wonder if he were still alive, if he would have sold out and made a shitty TV like the rest of the asshole comedians around today.

Agreed phillyfan345... I would like to think he had (and would still have) more integrity than that.

Fearless and unintimidated by anything. There is no one out their doing this now, not even comedy central. Yes, even Stewart and Colbert don't have that acerbic quality that sets them apart from Bill Hicks. Hicks was actually passionate and angered by what he saw, which no doubt really disturbed him, Colbert and Stewart are corporate clowns who no longer struggle with powers and principalities, instead they prefer not to take sides, which makes them clever pussies.

As usual most of you people don't know what you are talking about. Bill Hicks was on Letterman 14 times on NBC. And then one more time years later when Dave moved to CBS. This set was originally censored and bumped the first year Dave moved to CBS and the earlier time slot.

When I as in Florida I came across a rather un-usual crossing which had the crossing button but no lights. I thought for a second how the driver would know I was crossing and why the button. How does a right turn at a red work with pedestrian crossings?

What's wrong with TV? Just because Bill didn't like TV you won't either? Form your own opinion man. Some shows have absolute genius comedy in them.
