Show at Akiba Festival 2007, Akihabara, Tokyo

While walking through Akihabara I found this festival. As far as I know, this is the song for a famous anime series.

The singer is dressed in so-called "maid style". Akihabara (秋葉原) can be seen as the mecca for people who are really into manga and anime (Japanese comics and animation), in Japan called おたく("otaku"). You can find huge stores selling manga, DVD, electronic stuff, all kind of merchandise for famous animes like e.g. Evangelion, an amazing variety of action figures, customes and things you never would imagine they actually exist.
Also, you can find "maid cafes", where you can (obviously) drink cafe but will be served by cute girls in maid customes.
