Gene Norman was the producer/promoter of the famous 1947 concert in Pasadena California where the legendary Lionel Hampton recording was done. Gene Norman is also heard announcing the tune on this broadcast. He must have had a 'franchise' on the name "Just Jazz All-Stars". :)

I believe it is a different band. Just a coincidence of a catchy name. See the info box for the musicians on this tune. There is also a link to a pdf file (4 total actually) with an excellent dscography of the songs and musicians on Jubilee. Lionel Hampton was a frequent contributor to the Armed Forces Radio Jubilee program.

According to Answers com: Chuck Peterson is notable for being the trumpeter trading off with Ziggy Elman on Tommy Dorsey's famous 1942 record "Well Git It." After playing French horn and trombone while in high school, Peterson switched to trumpet. He worked locally, was in Hank Biagini's band and then was part of the Artie Shaw Orchestra (1937-39), where he occasionally soloed. Peterson was with the orchestras of Tony Pastor, Tommy Dorsey (off and on during 1939-42) and Woody Herman.
